Children

Phoebe works with children (with or without diagnosed disabilities) to create opportunities for amazing brain connections and learning.

She harnesses the natural power of your child’s brain to grow and change. She helps her students make new neural connections which lead to achieving childhood milestones, mastery of skills and emotional intelligence/regulation.

Her special skill of using songs and music in her lessons puts her students at ease and increases the effectiveness of her sessions.

Her “Simple Songs and Gentle Moves” program is an at-home, virtual resource for parents and caregivers.

Adults

Relief from chronic pain and anxiety, and Brain/Body connection are Phoebe’s specialties for adults.

Phoebe knows that your brain and nervous system can always benefit with a systems upgrade! Your mental, emotional and physical system will serve you better when you understand your habitual patterns and how they are (or aren’t) serving you!

Phoebe is a fully Certified and Mastery Level trained Anat Baniel Method® Neuromovement® Practitioner based in Portland, Oregon. In addition to teaching private NeuroMovement® lessons to children and adults in her studio, Phoebe is a dynamic presenter of workshops and classes for teachers, parents, companies and public groups.

Phoebe coaches parents online to facilitate brain development in their children.

A classically trained singer and violinist, a mother and a life-long learner, Phoebe delights in witnessing the transformative power of NeuroMovement (Slow, Gentle Movement with Attention)!

Phoebe MacRae of Brilliant Movement was a guest speaker at “The Caregivers Summit”

Her talk entitled “Self-Care-Giving” explored how attending to slow, gentle movements has the power to be an amazing practice of self-care. You can fit it into your day in small or big ways and it doesn’t need to cost a fortune to learn its principles. As well, it can be used to upgrade every care-giver’s toolbox of techniques for helping the people for whom they care. Total Win Win!
