It happens quietly.
Maybe you stop kneeling in the garden because getting back up is difficult. Perhaps you avoid long walks because your feet hurt. You think twice before climbing a ladder, dancing at a wedding, carrying a grandchild, or getting down onto the beach.
Little by little, your movement vocabulary becomes smaller.
And with fewer movement options, life itself can begin to feel smaller.

This summer, I invite you to spend five spacious days with me at the beautiful Sorrento Centre overlooking Shuswap Lake in British Columbia.
Move Into Life® is more than a movement class.
It is an opportunity to slow down enough for your brain to notice new possibilities.
Through gentle micromovement lessons, curiosity, and guided exploration, you'll experience how remarkably adaptable your brain remains throughout life.
Rather than pushing harder or stretching further, we'll discover how small changes in awareness can create surprisingly meaningful improvements in how you move, think, and feel.
Many people arrive believing that stiffness, discomfort, or reduced confidence are simply part of getting older.
By the end of the week they often leave moving with greater ease, feeling more comfortable, and perhaps most importantly, trusting their bodies again.
Your brain never stops learning
Our brains continue changing throughout our lives.
When we provide the nervous system with rich, varied, gentle information, it can discover more efficient ways of organizing movement.
That often means moving with less effort.
Less tension.
More balance.
More comfort.
More confidence.
Instead of trying to force your body to change, we'll create the conditions where change can happen naturally.
You'll begin building a richer movement vocabulary, giving yourself more choices in how you walk, stand, bend, reach, breathe and move through everyday life.
What our week together looks like
Each day builds naturally upon the previous one.
We'll spend our mornings together exploring gentle movement lessons that awaken awareness and invite your brain to discover new patterns.
Then for the rest of the day there will be there’s plenty of time to rest, reflect, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, share conversations with fellow participants, and simply allow your nervous system to integrate what it's learning.
No special fitness level is required.
There is no competition.
No pressure to perform.
You are encouraged to work comfortably at your own pace while discovering what is possible for you.
