Movement
Find the missing piece.
At Brilliant Movement, I help adults and children uncover the hidden patterns shaping pain, movement, learning, and development.
When something feels stuck, whether it’s chronic pain, difficulty moving with ease, or a child struggling to reach milestones, the answer is often not more effort.
Often, the missing piece is awareness.
Together, we explore how your system is already organizing itself so that new possibilities can emerge.
Through gentle, nervous-system-aware movement, hands-on guidance, education, and coaching, I help you recognize patterns that may be limiting comfort, mobility, confidence, and growth.
Because when we can notice what we are doing, we gain the power to do something different.
Awareness creates choice.
Choice creates change.
Change creates freedom.
My work supports the physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects of learning and change, helping people of all ages discover greater ease, stronger capacity, and more possibility.
How I Think About Change
I believe change begins with awareness.
Often, the missing piece is not more effort, more stretching, or pushing harder.
It is recognizing what your system is already doing.
When we can notice our patterns, we create the possibility for something new.
Our human systems are designed to learn, adapt, and reorganize throughout life.
Sometimes they simply need richer information, new experiences, and the space to explore different ways of moving, learning, and being.
My work supports change across the physical, cognitive, and emotional parts of life because they are deeply connected.
Through gentle movement, careful observation, and whole-system exploration, I help people discover greater ease, stronger capacity, and more freedom in their bodies and lives.
I believe there is often far more possibility available than we realize.
Whether you are seeking relief from pain or looking for new possibilities for your child, Brilliant Movement is a place to explore what else might be possible.
my story
The Journey of Brilliant Movement
Brilliant Movement was founded by Phoebe MacRae to help adults and children uncover the hidden patterns shaping pain, movement, learning, and development.
Phoebe works with adults experiencing chronic pain, tension, anxiety, and mobility challenges, as well as children with developmental delays and disabilities whose families sense there is more possibility available than they’ve been told.
Her work creates space for discovery, helping clients recognize the patterns they may not yet feel or see and uncover new options for change.
Phoebe offers in-person lessons in her Portland, Oregon studio and in-home lessons by request.

WHO I HELP
Adults
I help adults uncover the hidden patterns behind chronic pain, tension, anxiety, and movement limitations.
Many of my clients have tried stretching, strengthening, therapy, or rest and still feel stuck.
Together, we look beneath the symptom to understand the patterns shaping how you move, hold yourself, and respond to effort.
By creating greater awareness and offering new movement experiences, we help your system reorganize toward greater ease, comfort, and confidence.
This work can support:
• Back pain
• Joint pain
• Knee pain
• Foot pain, including Plantar Fasciitis
• Balance challenges
• Mobility limitations

Together, we create rich opportunities for learning, connection, and development by helping the brain receive new information and discover new options.
This work can support children in building skills, reaching milestones, improving emotional regulation, and expanding their capacity for learning and movement.

• Developmental delays
• Genetic conditions
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
